.... Capturing the simple and the grand moments of life.

I've been taking pictures for as long as I can remember.  Travels, friends, weddings, family. My photography started as a hobby and has grown into the opportunity to enter your homes, your lives, and your big moments of celebration. It's what I love to do!

During the school year I am school counselor at Blaine HS.  My husband, Daniel, and I live in NE Mpls and we love our city, our friends & family, our church Bethlehem Baptist, and most importantly Jesus Christ, who we serve joyfully!

Thanks for visiting - I hope to hear from you soon.  Annette

Hans & Sara

We had a HOT and humid day for Hans & Sara’s wedding but that didn’t matter much to the couple, or to the guests!  It was an outdoor family event that took place at St. Croix Regional Bluffs Park in Hastings.  I enjoyed the emotion of the day and how joyful people were.  The bride and groom wanted family to be a priority – as they not only promised their lives to each other, but also joined their children together as a family.  After a sweet ceremony that honored the Lord, the reception was complete with kids playing kick ball and all of us eating ice cream sundaes with toppings for dessert!  Sara is also my cousin, so it was great to see a bunch of my own family that day. Hans & Sara – many blessings to you both.  Megan and I enjoyed being part of your day. You are loved!

Kendall Grace

Our daughter turned six months old yesterday and this totally captures her personality – minus the occasional screaming fit she’s learned how to throw.  We are so blessed.  Enjoy!

Addy, Elsa & Zeke

ADDY. Awesome. ELSA. Exciting. ZEKE. Zestful.

Elysian, MN

A beautiful family. Kind words. An awesome red barn. Siblings. Cousins. Bare feet!  All these things made my Saturday morning in the small town of Elysian, MN with this family sweet. The pictures speak for themselves…. so fun!

Sneak Peak

Here’s one of my favorites from Saturday’s beautiful, sweet wedding uniting Sara & Hans.  More to come in days ahead.  I just love this one!

Marta Jewel

My dear friend Julie & her hubby Nathan welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world on May 31st – Marta Jewel.  I got to hold her when she was 10 days old and it never ceases to amaze me how intricately they are created.  She has been prayed for and hoped for…and now we say congrats! We love you, Nathan, Julie & Marta Jewel!

A Stillwater Evening

I met this fun family in Stillwater and we had a beautiful evening for photos.  Three families make up one larger family and I appreciated the time we spent together.  Thanks you everyone, for being great sports and for climbing up on top of the Zepher!  Anything for a fun family photo.  Many blessings to you all.

Drew & Preston

These two handsome young brothers, Drew & Preston, met me at Springbrook Nature Center in Fridley one evening last week.  The rain held off and the colors were bright as they played in the water, ran along the boardwalk, and smiled for the camera.  Very sweet indeed.

BHS Babies

These photos just make me smile.  I work with a great staff of teachers at Blaine High School and these are 8 of the 12 babies that have been born in the last 12 months.  We got together in Chad & Emily’s back yard this afternoon for a great family-style BBQ picnic.  I thought it would be fun to meet the spouses and new babes of this crew and it was a great day full of sun, rain, and car seats! Thanks, Everyone….. here’s to a great summer vacation.

Dan & Deanna – May 1, 2010

Dan and Deanna were married on a beautiful, windy day in downtown Minneapolis.  Their venue was the stunning Millenium Hotel and they did the day right!  LOTS of time for pictures, beautiful dresses, tons of fun had by all, friends & family that have known each other for years.  Dan & Deanna’s children, Catherine & Carson, were an integral part of the day as they said their vows to one another and pledged their lives in front of their loved ones.  Speaking of fun,  there was some friendly banter at the reception as some Chicago Bears fans needed to be put in their place….. RAGNAR made an entrance, and it was grand indeed.  Thank you, Dan & Deanna, for the honor of being involved in your day.  I wish you the very very best!

The minister told the bride & groom to smile for the camera – right in the middle of the ceremony!  Great!

Thanks to my assistant, Sarah, for this great shot of Deanna’s bouquet – Love it!
