I've been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. Travels, friends, weddings, family. My photography started as a hobby and has grown into the opportunity to enter your homes, your lives, and your big moments of celebration. It's what I love to do!
My husband, Daniel, and I live in NE Mpls with our daughter, Kendall, and we love our city, our friends & family and most importantly Jesus Christ, who we serve joyfully!

Jack & Mary’s two boys were both under the same roof for the holidays so it was time for a family portrait! I’m thankful to God for this family and for the leadership that Jack & Mary provide at Bethlehem Baptist. What a blessing they are to me and to many. My sister and her family were in Minnesota for a few weeks recently and we took an evening to walk across the street to one of my favorite walking paths for their family photos. It’s was so nice to have quality time with them in our home! Now they’re back in Mexico and we’ll pick up with email and skype to keep in touch. Thankful for technology that allows for that communication. Love you, sis!

Dave & Brooke – Thanks for making the trek to the cities for our annual Fermin Family Foto Shoot! Your family is beautiful as ever. Sweet Lily was all smiles and cute as a button and I have to say that I just love your boys! Enjoy these days and know that Dan and I send our love.
I love getting the opportunity photograph a family repeatedly! I met Marvin, Alison, Cassie & John last year and was excited to get their call again this year. They wanted fall photos and that’s exactly what we got on one of the first cool, autumn-type days of the season. We met at Aamadt’s Apple Orchard in Stillwater and had an active hour of apple-picking and climbing on wagons and tractors ~ Thanks for a great morning! It was tough to choose my favorites.
I had the privilege of attending an evening FOCUSED Photography Workshop put on by the gracious Noemi Hedrick of Noemi Photography on Saturday evening! I and 6 other women listened, gleaned, asked questions, got out to photograph an adorable family and engaged couple, and asked more questions! What a beautiful evening in the quaint town of Chaska…. Thank you, Noemi! I learned a ton and I look forward to the next one. One of my goals is to continue to learn how to use sunlight to make more beauty. This was a great step in that direction.
Jonathan & Adriann have two beautiful, sweet little girls! We played at Springbrook Nature Center in Fridley for a while on Sunday evening. It was so enjoyable and the sunlight was perfect! How am I supposed to choose just a handful of photos to put on this blog? I have loved watching this family evolve! Jonathan was a new math teacher at BHS (8 or so years ago). Then Adriann came along as another new math teacher! Pretty soon they were dating, engaged, and married. Next came Josephine, born about a month before my little girl…. and now we introduce sweet Juliette born two months ago (and just a few months before my next little one!)… so I feel like we’ve walked this family road in a very similar way. Thanks for your smiles, you guys…. Enjoy!
