This sweet little one lives in St. Paul with her mom & dad & their family pup. They have a beautiful home and Annika has the most adorable room. From the colors, to the hanging butterflies, the wall hangings and the hand-picked chandelier – it all made for some cute photos of this month old baby girl. The sun was out in full force to give us one of the first days that feels like spring. Thanks, Majken, for the great conversation, the time to chat about our daughters, and for the Starbucks Latte to start off the shoot. We have much to be thankful for.
This little man was born on February 13th making him a whopping 2 1/2 weeks old…. Cooper Lee is his name. I work with his mom at BHS and I photographed Chad & Emily’s wedding back in the summer of 2008. It was great to chat today, to take a few photos, and to compare notes on life with a new little one. Cooper was chatty and awake the entire time! I enjoyed his many facial expressions. He has many admirers and it’ll be fun to watch him grow up. What a cutie! Sweet baby girl Skye was born 36 hours after my daughter Kendall. What makes it even more fun is that her parents lived across the street from Dan and I until about 2 months ago when they bought a home north of here. So this past summer, Kari & I got to talk a lot of pregnancy, walk the neighborhood, and just enjoy living near each other. It was great to see Kari & Skye today, and to see their new house. The Lord has blessed our friendship and it was encouraging to share stories and catch up this afternoon. Congratulations, Swoop & Kari! Skye is beautiful.

Sarah & I bundled our kids (her 3, my 1) up this morning and headed over to the Guthrie with our cameras in tow to check out the lighting there for some upcoming photo shoots…. thanks to a friend, Karen, for the tip on the great location! We plugged the meters with 4 quarters and thought that an hour would be plenty…. we had so much fun and all of a sudden we realized that it was past time. So I hurried outside with KGP & made sure we were safe…. and Sarah got her troops back out to the cars soon after. Then we topped off our morning with hot chocolate at the Depot Dunn Bros. What a great location and a fun morning! Addy, Elsa & Ezekiel were great sports – and can anybody say CUTE?

You’ve seen this smiley girl before….. my niece Evie came to visit a few weeks ago when Kendall was born. We had to take a few photos of her at almost 5 months old. I’m so excited to have Ev grow up close in age to my little girl, and I know we’ll look forward to lots of family time together in the future. LOVE her big brownish eyes and beautiful skin…

A seven-week old sweetheart is Josephine Noel! We had an alert, happy baby this morning as we snapped a few photos of this little lady. I work with both her mom and her dad at Blaine HS so it’s been kind of special to walk the pregnancy and first baby road together over recent months. I’m so thrilled for Jonathan & Adriann and am thankful for the opportunity to meet this little tyke. God Bless your beautiful family!

Dan and I are celebrating the birth of our Baby Girl, Kendall Grace Pare. She was born on Thursday, January 7th… weighing in at 6 lb, 12 oz & 19.5 inches long. She is amazing, and we are thankful to God. There is no other explanation for the intricacies and beauty of childbirth than His handiwork in our lives and in hers. We are honored and privileged to be responsible to raise her, and we are enjoying every minute of these early days of her life. Here she is!

The Boo Family invited me into their home to photograph their extended family this past weekend as they celebrated Christmas together on Sunday afternoon. This family is one that I’ve been able to watch as they’ve grown up together… LaDawn and I met through Fellowship of Christian Athletes back in ‘97 or so…. she met Mike and I was blessed to be able to read Scripture in their wedding. Now they’ve added Anna, Ezra, Gracia, and Baby-To-Come to the clan. Mike was also our realtor – so if you need a great one, let me know! We met at Northwestern College on a beautiful Saturday morning for some family shots both indoors & outdoors. Thanks you guys, and may Christmas be extra full of JOY this year!
